Spring?

Welcome:
I know….I know…I know….Mother Nature is not being kind to us up
here in the North. We continue to have bouts of the white stuff even
though it is almost May! Better weather and warmer temperatures
are on the horizon, I hope . I know that none of us would like to play
golf in the snow!!!!
A few of our Chapter Leaders, Ed Avink (Certification Chair), Charlie
Appleby (Immediate Past President), Justin DeMarco (President Elect),
Gregg Jones (Awards Chair) and myself, attended the Great Lakes
Region Conference in Detroit, April 11-13. The Conference was well
attended and our Detroit Chapter hosts put on a great conference.
Our 2019 West Michigan Design Expo occurred on April 17 th and was a
good show. We were hoping for a better showing of the Architects and Engineers. In the coming weeks
we will be getting together to discuss how we can make this show better than it ever was. I would like to
personally thank each and every Exhibitor that took the time to show us what is new regarding products
and services to our industry. Thank you!
